Bonaventura left the Azzurri training camp and returned to Italy for the birth of his son
Jakarta (threeriversburghblog) – Fiorentina’s midfielder Giacomo Bonaventura left the Italian national team to look forward to the birth of his son on Sunday.
Bonaventura leaves the squad Azzurri ahead of the UEFA Nations League Group 1 Group A game against Poland tonight (Monday morning CET) 2020/2021, FIGC confirmed it is returning to Italy for the birth of their son.

“This morning Giacomo Bonaventura left the Azzurri training camp and came back to Italy for the birth of his son Edoardo,” the FIGC statement was quoted by Football Italia.
“FIGC and all their teammates and national team members congratulate the Bonaventura family,” he added.
The former AC Milan midfielder also played in Italy’s 6-0 win over Moldova on Wednesday. In this friendly game, Bonaventura played for 67 minutes.
