Bandung (threeriversburghblog) –
The Bandung (Pemkot) city government has accelerated the review process for the Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium (GBLA) so that the developer can hand over the entire building of the building, although the League 1 competition has yet to be postponed for the 2020 season.
Regarding the postponement of the League 1 competition, Yana Mulyana stressed that it would not interfere with the Bandung City government in the preparation of sports facilities and infrastructure.
The GBLA Stadium is in line with the Persib Bandung Club’s plan to steer the continuation of the 2020 League 1 season, which was previously stopped due to COVID-19.
“Basically, we’re just preparing the infrastructure. Yes, we’re waiting for the first division,” added Yana.
He hopes that the review process can be completed soon so that the GBLA Stadium’s assets are wholly owned by the Bandung City government as the handover process needs to be agreed between the two parties.
“Hopefully (it will be ready soon). Today it is still being processed. Because something still needs to be repaired. For example, four light points have to be installed.
When the handover is made, the government of the City of Bandung will move the stadium management auction option to a third party, including PT Persib Bandung Bermartabat, according to Yana.
